Great news! Following the latest Government announcement, we’re re-opening our gyms and swimming pools* at the following centres on Monday 12th April:

Re-opening Roadmap

Online Bookings

Online bookings will go LIVE from 12-noon Friday 9th April.

ALL sessions MUST be booked online and in advance of attending your chosen centre. Gym, online classes and outdoor classes can be booked via your online account. Membership payments were automatically frozen for the duration of the latest national lockdown, and as advised when we last closed, your next payment will be collected a follows:

Direct Debit Memberships:

Unless you have opted to freeze your membership, your next payment will be collected on the 15th of April 2021 as per your direct debit agreement.

If we collected a payment on the 15th of December we will collect a pro-rated amount on the 15th of April.

Paid-in-Full Memberships:

Your membership was automatically frozen for the duration of our closure. All paid in full memberships will be extended by the length of time that our facilities were closed for, or days remaining your membership.

PARiS Memberships:

Unless you have opted to freeze your membership, your next payment will be collected on the 15th of April 2021 as per your direct debit agreement.

If we collected a payment on the 15th of December we will collect a pro-rated amount on the 15th of April.

Swimming Lesson Memberships:

All swimming lesson payments were automatically frozen and we can confirm that no payments were collected during our closure.

Your next payment will be collected on the 15th of April 2021 as per your direct debit agreement.

If we collected a payment on the 15th of December we will collect a pro-rated amount on the 15th of April.

Promotional Memberships:

Your promotional membership was frozen during our centre closure and your agreement has been extended by the length of time that our facilities were closed for.

If you have any questions, please email a member of the team and we will get back to you within 5 working days.

Avondale

The refurbishment of lifeLEISURE Avondale’s swimming pool changing area has been completed and we are now awaiting the completion of a handover with the contractors who carried out the work.

This means that pool will be re-opening at a slightly later date than the 12th of April. As soon as the handover has been completed, we will have a confirmed date to re-open the pool. We’ll be updating Avondale’s webpage on Thursday 8th April with full details on when the pool will be re-opening and when bookings will go live, so please check back then for more details.

We’re really looking forward to welcoming our members back and we want to thank you for your patience.

Romiley 

We are delighted to announce that the new refurbishment of lifeLEISURE Romiley’s swimming pool changing areas, entrance and reception will commence this month!

As a result, there will be some disruption to the facility whilst the work is undertaken including temporary pool changing rooms, new access to the facility entrance and limited car parking availability. Due to the location of the temporary changing rooms the car park entry and exit will be single file. We are encouraging members to walk or cycle where possible. 

Further details for customers will be released in the next few days on Romiley's webpage. We would like to thank-you for your patience during this period and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Due to restrictions, we won’t be able to hold classes within our studios until Monday 17th May at the earliest. However, from Monday 12th April, we will be running outdoor classes for our members alongside continuing our live studio timetable! lifeLEISURE Kids and Family classes will resume from this date as well.

We’ll also be starting our 4-week FitCamp course where our trainers will coach you through your sessions, helping you to achieve your goals. To find out more about this course, click here.

Timetables will be released on Thursday 8th of April on our website, with online bookings going live on Friday 9th April from 12-noon.

We have now increased the duration of our gym slot times so you can enjoy a longer workout at our centres!

Members will be required to book 2 consecutive* sessions at your centre of choice. Longer sessions are available at Avondale, Brinnington, Cheadle, Grand Central, Hazel Grove, Houldsworth Village, Romiley & Stockport Sports Village.

*If you have booked 2 sessions with a clear 15-minute break in-between, you will be asked to leave the gym to allow staff to clean the facility to help keep our gyms a safe environment for all.

If you would like to freeze your membership please complete the following form. Please be advised that there will be a charge of £5 per month to freeze your membership. All freeze requests must be requested no later than Friday 9th April 2021.

IMPORTANT: If you’ve previously opted to freeze your membership, please check your freeze confirmation email for the date your freeze ends. If your membership freeze ends before the 15th April, you will be charged your full DD amount (unless you opt to re-freeze for £5 per month before the 9th of April via this link). If you’re freeze end date lands past 15th April, you do not need to take any action.
