Will cleaning measures still be in place now restrictions have eased?
Yes, we are still asking all members and customers to wipe down equipment after use so we can continue to keep our centres a safe place to exercise. Cleaning stations are available in all centres with plenty of spray and tissue on hand to wipe down your equipment after use. Our staff are also continuously cleaning throughout the day.
Should I bring a sweat towel?
No. We kindly ask you not to bring a sweat towel to the gym or classes to help limit any risk of the virus spreading and that all members only use the wipes and sanitiser available in the gym and class studios.
Should I bring a mat?
Yes, if you have your own exercise mat then please bring it. If not, we do still have mats available and these will be sanitised before and after each class.
Will hand sanitiser be available for members?
Yes. Hand sanitiser is available at reception and at regular points throughout the buildings.
Should I wear a mask in the gym?
It is no longer mandatory to wear a face covering while using the facilities, however we strongly recommend that all members and visitors continue to wear face coverings in all circulation areas of our buildings unless exempt. This includes reception, corridors, spectator areas and toilets. This does not include the gym, sports halls, studios, swimming pools or outdoor spaces, although you may still choose to wear one in these areas if you wish.
Should I wear gloves in the gym?
No, please do not wear gloves whilst training. Gloves can harbor a high viral load, with easier transfer to multiple services. Washing your hands with soap and water and using hand sanitiser before, during and after training is far more effective.
How do I freeze/unfreeze my membership?

How can I cancel my membership?
Please email email@example.com stating you wish to cancel and to begin your 30 days written notice period.
My annual membership paid for in advance has been frozen. Will this be extended?
All paid-in-full (PIF) memberships that have been frozen will be extended by the length of time that your account has been frozen for, so you won't miss out on any membership access already paid for.
I owe some money for my membership - how do I make that payment?

My membership is frozen - can I still make a booking?
No, you won't be a to make a booking while your membership is frozen. If you are ready to come back and use the facilities, you will have to fill out this form to unfreeze your membership account.
How do I find out what is my home gym?
If you log into your members area here, then click My Profile and your Home Club will be stated the 4th field down.
Can I change my home club?
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a change to your home club.
Can I look around your centres before signing up to a membership?
You can pre-book a tour around one of our centres before joining! To do this, please call your preferred site to arrange a tour at a time most convenient to you.
Can I call the centres to speak to a member of staff?
Yes, centre phone lines are now back on and you can call to speak to a member of the team. All centre phone numbers can be found on each centre page.

If I unfreeze my membership and I still feel uncomfortable, can I then freeze it again?
Our top priority is for our members to feel safe in our centres, so if you have any concerns or questions please get in touch with us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Where can I find a list of the available facilities in each centre?
We have detailed what facilities are open and what remains closed on each specific centre page.
Do you have a timetable for your classes?
Yes. You can view the updated class timetables for adults and Kids on the individual centre pages.
Will we have to book before visiting your centres?
Yes. All gym and studio bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance through your online account. Once you are in your account, you can book gym & studio classes under 'make a booking'. Swimming bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance via our online ticketing page.
If you do not wish to book in advance for the gym, you can turn up at the centre but you MUST check-in with reception before heading to the fitness suite.
Are you running holiday camps over the summer?
Unfortunately, there will be no Life Leisure holiday camps during Summer 2021. However, we are pleased to announce Life Leisure will once again participate in the Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF) and will be hosting Summer camps on behalf of the Department For Education. Are you be restricting the number of members allowed in the gym?
Yes. Although we have increased the number of spaces on each activity from 19th July in line with restrictions easing, we still have maximum capacities in all of our centres in order to continue to keep our members and staff safe.
If the maximum capacity is reached for a session, the online booking system will show as full. Please book via your online account before you arrive at centre to avoid disappointment. If you do not wish to book in advance for the gym, you can turn up without booking, however you MUST check-in with reception before heading to the fitness suite.
Is there a time limit on my visit?
No! You can book an unlimited number of back to back gym sessions to suit your schedule and have as long or short a session as you wish.
Will the crèche be open at your centres?
Our crèche facilities will remain closed at all centres until further notice.
How do I make a booking?
I am unable to book online, can someone help?
If you are having difficulties booking your session online, please give the centre a call so a member of the team can look into this for you.

Can I book a gym & studio slot one after the other?
Yes, you can book an unlimited number of sessions at a time that suits you. As the centres no longer close for cleaning periods, you can stay in the gym until your class begins.
Which sessions can I bring my child swimming?
Children 11+ are welcome to attend our lane swimming sessions. If you are looking to bring younger children, please look for our family swimming sessions. Please visit our online ticketing page to view availability and to book your swim.
How do I redeem my over 60s discount?
Members who are over 60 years will need to put their membership number in the over 60s ticketing box, which will then discount accordingly. Non-members who are over 60 years will need to select the 'Over 60's' concession option on the online ticketing page.
How do I book my child onto swimming lessons?
Our swimming lessons are all currently at full capacity. You can place your child on our waiting list here.
