Yes, we are still asking all members and customers to wipe down equipment after use so we can continue to keep our centres a safe place to exercise. Cleaning stations are available in all centres with plenty of spray and tissue on hand to wipe down your equipment after use. Our staff are also continuously cleaning throughout the day. 

No. We kindly ask you not to bring a sweat towel to the gym or classes to help limit any risk of the virus spreading and that all members only use the wipes and sanitiser available in the gym and class studios.

Yes, if you have your own exercise mat then please bring it.  If not, we do still have mats available and these will be sanitised before and after each class.

Yes. Hand sanitiser is available at reception and at regular points throughout the buildings.

It is no longer mandatory to wear a face covering while using the facilities, however we strongly recommend that all members and visitors continue to wear face coverings in all circulation areas of our buildings unless exempt. This includes reception, corridors, spectator areas and toilets. This does not include the gym, sports halls, studios, swimming pools or outdoor spaces, although you may still choose to wear one in these areas if you wish.

No, please do not wear gloves whilst training. Gloves can harbor a high viral load, with easier transfer to multiple services. Washing your hands with soap and water and using hand sanitiser before, during and after training is far more effective.

All paid-in-full (PIF) memberships that have been frozen will be extended by the length of time that your account has been frozen for, so you won't miss out on any membership access already paid for.

Yes. All you will need to do to unfreeze is fill out the online form and then if you decide you do not feel comfortable in the centres and would like to refreeze, just re-fill out this form.

Yes. You can view the updated class timetables for adults and Kids on the individual centre pages. 

Yes. All activities require booking in advance to avoid disappointment. This can be done up to 7 days in advance online or via the app. Swimming bookings can also be made up to 7 days in advance via the app or our online ticketing page.

If you do not wish to book in advance for the gym, you can turn up at the centre but you MUST check-in with reception before heading to the fitness suite.  

Yes. Although we have increased the number of spaces on each activity from 19th July in line with restrictions easing, we still have maximum capacities in all of our centres in order to continue to keep our members and staff safe.

If the maximum capacity is reached for a session, the online booking system will show as full. Please book in advance before you arrive at centre to avoid disappointment. If you do not wish to book in advance for the gym, you can turn up without booking, however you MUST check-in with reception before heading to the fitness suite.

If attending a swimming session or class, you will be required to exit at the designated finish time. If you are visiting the gym, you can book an unlimited number of back to back gym sessions to suit your schedule and have as long or short a session as you wish. 

Our crèche facilities are available at Avondale, Brinnington, Cheadle, Hazel Grove and Stockport Sports Village. You can book your crèche slot via the app. We hope to reopen our crèche at Houldsworth Village in the coming weeks. Due to the ongoing renovations, the crèche facility at Romiley will remain closed until further notice. Please keep an eye out on our website for further updates.

Yes, you can book an unlimited number of sessions at a time that suits you. As the centres no longer close for cleaning periods, you can stay in the gym until your class begins. 


Children 11+ are welcome to attend all of our swimming sessions. If you are looking to bring younger children, please look for Family Swim, General Swim or Swim and Slides sessions. Please visit our online ticketing page to view availability and to book your swim. 

Members who are over 60 years will need to put their membership number in the over 60s ticketing box, which will then discount accordingly. Non-members who are over 60 years will need to select the 'Over 60's' concession option on the online ticketing page. 


Our swimming lessons are all currently at full capacity. You can place your child on our waiting list here.
