About the Centre

Located in the centre of Stockport, next to the train station, Life Leisure Grand Central provides first class fitness and swimming facilities. The gym houses the latest fitness equipment and has a dedicated performance zone and aerobics studio with weeky programme of classes. Grand Central is also home to Stockport's only 50m swimming pool and Stockport Metro, the UK's most successful swimming club and learn to swim programme.

 

CUSTOMER NOTICE - SWIMMING POOL CLOSURE FOR SWIMMING GALA 29-31 MARCH

Due to our annual Swimming Gala, the swimming pools at Life Leisure Grand Central will be closed from Friday 29th March 1:00pm until Sunday 31st March, reopening on Monday 1st April as normal. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. 

SLIDES NOW OPEN @ GRAND CENTRAL
We are delighted to announce the newly refurbished slides and splash pool are now open at Life Leisure Grand Central. Please see our live swimming pool timetable at the bottom of the page for opening times, which will be extended from Monday 21st January. Please note Slide customers must be a minimum of 1.1 metres tall and also be able to swim 25 metres competently.

FREE PARKING FOR GRAND CENTRAL CUSTOMERS

Any visitor using Life Leisure Grand Central will be granted two hours FREE PARKING if using the NCP multi-storey car park. Please be aware that any visit longer than two hours will be charged at the normal rate including the first two hours. Customers must validate their parking ticket using the machine at reception, with the two hours parking offer available only to Life Leisure Grand Central customers.

Adult Studio Class Timetable

Home to Stockport Metro, the UK's most successful swimming club, world class swimmers and Olympic medalists train here on a daily basis.
